Who am I
- A professional artist.
- I work in all these areas, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and further if required.
- I provide the opportunity to enrich learning, creativity, build self confidence, self esteem and skills through a selection of creative inspirational workshops.
- Provide creative experiences that empower and encourage shared ownership and equal opportunities
What I do
- Plan and deliver art projects in all schools and community settings.
- Design bespoke workshops to suit a particular project or event.
- Work with schools to design art projects that cross-over with other curriculum subjects such as history, geography, English, science and maths.
- Art & craft workshops in all settings.
- Art clubs and extended schools activities.
- Private and commercial commissions.
- Workshops can run from a Single Hour, a Creativity Day to an Artists Residency spanning over several weeks, or a longer period of engagement on major projects.
- I can provide a creative addition to a children's party.
Experience
- 10 years experience teaching innovative and experimental arts of many disciplines.
- Work with all age groups from toddlers to the retired - specialising in younger children.
- Special needs – autistic children.
- Creative mentoring for disadvantaged children.
- Pupil referral
- Regeneration projects.
- Therapeutic sessions in hospitals, residential homes and day centres
Courses/qualifications
- BA Multi-Media Textiles (2:1 hons) School of Art and Design, Loughborough University.
